How much does it cost?
Unlike other umbrella companies who may charge you a percentage of your earnings, at Sombrilla we operate a fixed cost policy which means that even when your earnings increase, it will not cost you any more.
We will deduct an administration cost from funds received when we make payment to you. In this way, there will only be a cost when you are earning and not when you are in between contracts.
Sombrilla offers you a choice of umbrella company services - Sombrilla Standard and Sombrilla Premium.
Sombrilla Standard - from £9.24 per week net of taxes
With the Sombrilla Standard service, payments are made to your bank account using BACS and funds are normally received by you 3 working days after payment is made.
The cost to you for Sombrilla Standard:
- Weekly: £20.00 (£11.24 after basic tax relief or £9.24 after higher rate tax relief)
- Fortnightly: £40.00 (£22.48 after basic tax relief or £18.48 after higher rate tax relief)
- Monthly: £75.00 (£42.15 after basic tax relief or £34.65 after higher rate tax relief)
- Expenses Claim Processing: FREE!
- Payment Notification SMS Alert: FREE!
- Inclusive Insurances: FREE!
Sombrilla Premium - from £11.55 per week net of taxes
With the Sombrilla Premium service, payments are made to your bank account using CHAPS and funds are received by you on the same working day payment is made.
The cost to you for Sombrilla Premium:
- Weekly: £25.00 (£14.05 after basic tax relief or £11.55 after higher rate tax relief)
- Fortnightly: £50.00 (£28.10 after basic tax relief or £23.10 after higher rate tax relief)
- Monthly: £85.00 (£47.77 after basic tax relief or £39.27 after higher rate tax relief)
- Expense Claim Processing: FREE!
- Same Day CHAPS Transfer: FREE!
- Payment Notification SMS Alert: FREE!
- Inclusive Insurances: FREE!
Additional Charges:
The costs for additional services excluding VAT are:
- Reference letters: £5.00
- Mortgage & Visa applications: £25.00
- One-off payment by CHAPS: £20.00 (Sombrilla Standard service clients only)
- Secondary / Additional Sub-Contract or Bonus invoice processing costs:
